Gregorio (64) lives alone in a decaying house by the river, accompanied only by the memory of his late wife. His days follow a quiet routine, until every night a strange creature rises from the water to haunt his home. Isolated, feared by his neighbors, and harassed by hostile youths, Gregorio faces the dilemma of fleeing or confronting the monster. When he finally chooses to fight back, he discovers the true threat lies not only in the river, but within his own guilt and solitude.
