Following their latest, acclaimed 8th studio album, “Melodies of Atonement” (2024), Leprous took to the stage of Poppodium 013 in Tilburg, The Netherlands on 7 February 2025 for one of the biggest and most explosive shows of their career to date. 15 years since first performing there as an opener, they returned for their own triumphant concert, playing two career-spanning sets captured on camera by director Paul M. Green and released under the title, “An Evening of Atonement”.

Baqyt is a guy who can't find work despite having several diplomas. He dreams of moving with his family to Astana, treating his sick brother and taking care of his aging mother. Unexpectedly, he gets a job as a personal assistant to Alibek, the authoritative head of the oil holding. There, Baqyt meets my beautiful and ambitious Anim, and the two fall in love. However, fate prepares another test. When his brother's health deteriorates, Alibek gives a helping hand. But he also knows that he is passionate about Anim. Despite the new position, an apartment and a car, Baqyt does not find happiness.

Everyone in the ensemble knows what is at stake: the cultural sector is merciless, the clock is ticking, and in no time at all, you’re out of the picture. The dancers must come up with a creative solution rather than sinking into the abyss of personal sensitivities.
