The royal squire George tastes a bite of a magical snake and understands the language of animals. However, he is guilty of violating his king's order, and so he faces either the death penalty or an uncertain and dangerous journey to find Goldilocks, a princess from a mysterious kingdom in the middle of a lake. He therefore sets off on a journey accompanied by Stephen, with whom he grew up since childhood, and a small dog named Lucky, whose life George saved. George is faced with a whole series of adventures and surprises along the way. He has no idea that Stephen is jealous and is not as sincere a friend as he seemed. Fortunately, George has brave allies, the animals he has helped.
