Annisokay stand for a powerful blend of modern metalcore, catchy melodies, and emotional depth – and that's exactly what they brought to Wacken on August 2nd 2025. Between shouts and clean vocals, between brutal riffs and anthemic hooks, magnificent songs forge their way to the listener. Frontman Rudi Schwarzer and singer/guitarist Christoph Wieczorek complement each other perfectly, forming a wall of sound that cuts deep and resonates long after the last note fades. Live, Annisokay don't deliver a run-of-the-mill show, but rather intense moments oscillating between loss of control and clarity. For everyone who's looking for more than just noise, but still doesn't want to sacrifice volume. Setlist: Throne of the Sunset, Never Enough, Ultraviolet, Like a Parasite, Human, My Effigy, Inner Sanctum, Good Stories, H.A.T.E., Calamity, Coma Blue, STFU
DOOL transport their audience to soundscapes that transcend genre boundaries; they are melancholic, powerful, and profoundly atmospheric. A sound unfolds between doom, gothic, and progressive rock, hypnotizing and deeply affecting. Frontman Raven van Dorst lends the songs an intense depth, carried by dark melodies, soaring guitars, and subtle drama. Live, DOOL feels less like a traditional concert and more like a ritual—calm, intense, and moving. In Wacken 2025, this moment becomes a contrast amidst the noise: a dark beauty that shines in the storm of the festival. Setlist: "The Shape of Fluidity", "Self-Dissect", "Wolf Moon", "Venus in Flames", "House of a Thousand Dreams", "Hermagorgon", "Oweynagat"
Sometimes a single note is enough to make it clear: nothing here will ever be the same again. For over four decades, Destruction has delivered precisely this feeling with a force that has lost none of its edge. In 2025, they returned to Wacken with a new album, a new lineup, and their familiar ferocity. Frontman Schmier leads a set that leaves no room for frills. Pure thrash, fast, hard, and straight to the core. Anyone who thinks veterans rest on their laurels hasn't seen Destruction live in a long time. Here, nothing burns down, everything burns to the ground. When Floor Jansen takes the stage, that rare moment of absolute presence arises. Tension fills the air even before the first note is played. Known as the exceptional voice of Nightwish, she has cemented a firm place in the music world outside of the band with her solo debut "Paragon" and songs like "Fire" and "Storm." Her voice combines power and grace, opera and rock, vulnerability and determination; it is an instrument that transforms emotions into sound and then back into emotions. Those who experience her live immediately sense that this isn't just a singer, but an entire story unfolding in music. Her setlist includes tracks by Nightwish and After Forever. Setlist: Wolf and Dog, Noise, Invincible, Storm, Spider Silk, Amaranth, Energize Me, 7 Days to the Wolves, While Love Died, Face Your Demons, Nemo, Fire.

Three hundred years old and as timely as ever, Handel's monumental Giulio Cesare in Egitto (Julius Caesar in Egypt) arrives at the 2025 Salzburg Festival in a new staging by the audacious, award-winning Dmitri Tcherniakov! When Caesar (Christophe Dumaux) comes to Egypt on the hunt for his enemy Pompey, he discovers that the pharaoh Ptolemy (Yuriy Mynenko) has beaten him to the punch, setting Pompey's son Sextus (Federico Fiorio) on a mission for vengeance — all while Ptolemy's sister Cleopatra (Olga Kulchynska) schemes to take the throne for herself, leading her directly into the path of Caesar… This tale of uncompromising rivalries and the corrupting thrall of political power is animated by one of Handel's finest scores, majestic in the hands of expert Baroque ensemble Le Concert d'Astrée under their celebrated founder Emmanuelle Haïm.
This film, in a way, sparked the very first glimmers of the Spiral Spectrum idea. One night of the year 2023, , Amirhossein, feeling unwell, sat at the piano and played something—music that would later be used in the film. Soheil recorded an audio file that night, and the following day, while improvising with an old Panasonic Handycam, he played back the previous evening’s recording. The film you see is essentially a long, continuous one-take shot, captured through that process. During the editing, additional sounds and textures were layered into the musical fabric— including the voice of Maynard James Keenan performing a live rendition of "Simultaneous," and sounds from conversations among astronauts during one of their exploratory missions. In the end, it was after experiencing the final cut a few days later, once the editing was complete, that the essence of the Spiral Spectrum began to take shape in our minds.
The making of this film harks back to a time when the ideas of Spiral Spectrum were still taking shape. It was shot with an old JVC Handycam, during a autumn sunset when the sun spilled its deepest crimson hues over the leaves... During that period, a live version of Swans' track "I Am Tower" was playing—an echo that accompanied the filming process. The cinematographer listened attentively, striving to find a portal into another realm of perception, amidst the rhythmic dance of music, light, and leaves.
In January of 2025, Sondre Lerche and his 52-piece ensemble performed a truly extraordinary show at the Norwegian National Opera & Ballet. The career-spanning concert was divided into two chronological acts and was performed to two sold-out audiences, in what became a dizzying musical and visual marathon both on stage and behind the scenes. For the many fans around the world who couldn’t get a seat at the Opera House in January—and for all who were there and wish to relive the magic—Sondre Lerche and ONZONZ now present Stop Time, a full-length concert film that captures the feeling of being there.

After a long hiatus, they returned in 2013 and have since proven that taking a stand is timeless. Their current chapter combines classics with fresh energy, especially for their 50th anniversary. At Wacken, on August 1st 2025, they brought their rebellious mix of rock, punk, and new wave to the stage, as a reminder that good protest always needs a damn strong chorus.
