The villainous casts of the original Time-Bokan series compete to win the right to appear in this program, daring to employ all their mean, make-shift and frivolous tricks. The winners get to display their idiotic, yet appealing performances in the mystic Tatsunokon Kingdom program.
Stone Protectors was a multi-media entertainment property consisting primarily of an action figure line and animated series. The series also had a video game on the Super Nintendo. It served as a late attempt to market the troll doll craze of the early 1990s to young boys. While not particularly successful, nor inspired by a prior medium, Stone Protectors generally followed in the same vein as contemporaries like Toxic Crusaders, Swamp Thing, and the highly popular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
The Terrible Thunderlizards is a segment that aired in Canada on YTV and in the United States as part of Eek! Stravaganza on the Fox Kids programming block.
Jotaro Kujo is a popular high school student – at least until that day when he thinks he is possessed by a ghost, which is why he locks himself up. During a fight between his grandfather and his grandfather’s friend Muhammad Abdul, he notices that the ghost is his “Stand”, named "Star Platinium", his fighting aura. Later, his mother also gets such a “Stand” and thus falls ill. Jotaro learns that a man named Dio Brando, who was defeated by Jotaro’s great-great-grandfather a hundred years ago, is to blame. He joins his grandfather and Abdul to destroy Dio once and for all.
Toshihiko Tanaka is a boy who entered Kakegawa High School with his friends Kenji & Kazuhiro, in order to play soccer with Yoshiharu Kubo, a great soccer player whom they have idolized. While his other two friends were reluctant to play again, "Toshi" eventually convinces them to play for the team. The team soon find themselves in the midst of a quest to the All-Japan High School Championship, while overcoming obstacles along the way.
Problem Child is an animated series produced by Universal Cartoon Studios and based on the Problem Child films. The TV series aired from 1993 to 1994. USA Network aired the series as part of their USA Cartoon Express programming block. The first 13 episodes can currently be seen on Hulu. The show is still aired in USA dubbed in Spanish language on the Telefutura network. In spite of this, Universal, as of November 19, 2009 has yet to announce any plans for a DVD release. 5 tapes were released in 1995 containing episodes from seasons 1 and 2.
A significant feature has Gilbert Gottfried reprising his role of Igor Peabody from the films.
Shinjuku, 1979. A member of the Kaeda Yakuza gang, Akutsu Shouji, has lost in a brawl with a university cheering squad, and begs for forgiveness through bitter tears. Since then, nothing has gone well in Shouji's life, until 10 years later in 1989, his friend was ordered to kill him, and as he ran away he killed himself, ending his miserable life. But when Shouji opened his eyes, he was in Shinjuku in 1979, at the fight with the university students that caused things to go wrong. Now with ten more years of memories and experience, Shouji repels the university students with spirit and wisdom. Now he swears to wear a gold emblem around town, and begins his life anew.
The year is 2016. The place is New Port City. The Tank Police are still waging a desperate war on crime, and their tactics are still highly questionable. Mayor Weatherby is trying to pass a bill banning certain weapons from the city, which makes her a target of the Dai Nippon Geiken Corporation, who are now manufacturing mobile weapons that even the Tank Police may not be able to stop. Dai Nippon Geiken is also connected with the murder of Leona Ozaki's former partner, Charon Ishira, making the battle all the more personal for the Tank Police's number one officer, who will stop at nothing to avenge her partner. But can she pay the high price revenge calls for?
Sakuragi Hanamichi is a junior high punk used to getting into fights and being rejected by girls but upon entering high school he meets the girl of his dreams, Haruko Akagi. He will do anything in order to win her heart including joining the school basketball team that is aiming to conquer the nation lead by Haruko's brother. The problem is that Sakuragi has never played basketball before and a freshman sensation is stealing the spotlight and Haruko's affection from him.
Ta-chan is the king of jungle. He was abandoned in savanna, and has been raised by a chimpanzee, Etekichi. He has a dearest wife, Jane who used to be a top model in New York, but now she looks…Anyway, to protect animals from poachers, Ta-chan is fighting against them with his disciple, Pedro, and a master of Chinese martial arts, Ryo. This anime is based on the manga with the same title; it begins as a comical parody of Tarzan. The first several episodes are comedies, but the rest of the series consists of (rather) serious episodes.
Six cash-strapped adventurers embark on a quest to collect hot spring water to re-pay their debts in this lampooning of classic Dungeons and Dragons-style video games. The party gets involved with a plot involving a white dragon who demands a human sacrifice every 10 years, and an evil mind-controlling mage.
