Vild med dans is the Danish version of Dancing with the Stars and is shown by TV 2 in Denmark. Seasons 1 and 2 were presented by Andrea Elisabeth Rudolph and Peter Hansen. Season 3 was presented by Christine Lorentzen and Claus Elming. Seasons 4-6 were presented by Andrea Elisabeth Rudolph and Claus Elming. Season 7 is presented by Christiane Schaumburg-Müller and Claus Elming. The show features four judges. Anne Laxholm, Britt Bendixen, and Jens Werner have been featured in all seasons. Season 1 featured Kim Dahl as the fourth judge. In season 2, he was replaced by Thomas Evers Poulsen, the only person to have appeared on the show both as a professional contestant and as a judge. Since season 3, Allan Tornsberg has been the fourth judge.

Ruri, having been abandoned by her mother to a foster care facility, lives a life of reckless abandonment. When Nakama Yuzo, a kind man but for a trigger-happy temper, runs into Ruri he realizes that perhaps she's the child he's been looking for. Yuzo lives in Hatomijima, a small insland in Okinawa where the population is 49 and the average age group is 61. There are no children. The island has only one school - a primary school. If a child is not enrolled in the school, it will be closed. As a result, society will abandon the island and in a few years, it will cease to have any inhabitants. To save their island, the locals decide to bring in a foster child. Ruri is their candidate, and with her she brings the hope of the island's survival.

Like its predecessor, it is themed around an enhanced version of a children's schoolyard game – whereas Beyblade was based around spinning tops, Battle B-Daman is a dramatized version of marbles. It is the first show of the B-Daman series to be dubbed in English. In Japan, it airs on TV Tokyo. In the United States, India it once aired on ABC Family and Toon Disney's JETIX block. At one point, as well as G4 in the USA, but on the latter was replaced by G.I. Joe Sigma 6 soon after. In Canada, it airs on YTV, in which on February 2007, the second season commenced with a completely new voice cast, and what some have called inferior dubbing from the first season; the French dub of the show airs on Télétoon.
