Sense and Sensibility is a 2008 British television drama, based on Jane Austen's 1811 novel of the same name. The screenplay was written by Andrew Davies, who said that the aim of the series was to make viewers forget Ang Lee's 1995 film version. As such, this series was more overtly sexual than previous Austen adaptations, and Davies included scenes featuring a seduction and a duel that are suggested in Austen's novel but absent from the feature film.

Bone Detectives is a television series that made its debut on The Discovery Channel on Saturday December 29, 2007, at 10 P.M. Eastern time. Afterward, its regular timeslot became Mondays at 10 P.M., starting on January 14, 2008. It is also shown on Discovery Channel Fridays at 9 P.M. An article on the series states that it "will follow teams of scientists and explorers as they attempt to unlock the secrets of burial and mummification... Archaeologist Scotty Moore and Discovery Channel Producer Tom Golden from Hot Springs, Arkansas will lead each of Bone Detective's expeditions, which will explore the burial techniques used by some of the world's most ancient civilizations. Billed as a mix of 'anthropology and adventure,' Bone Detectives will also use the burial techniques to reveal portions of the past that have since been forgotten."

Tin Man is a three-part American miniseries, a reimagining of the classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, with added science fantasy elements. Produced by RHI Entertainment for the Sci-Fi Channel, It focuses on small-town waitress DG, who is pulled into a magical realm called the O.Z. (Outer Zone), ruled by the tyrannical sorceress Azkadellia. Together with her companions Glitch, Raw, and Cain, DG journeys to uncover her lost memories, find her true parents, and foil Azkadellia's plot to trap the O.Z. in eternal darkness.
Wrestling Reality is a documentary television series airing on The Fight Network that follows the lives of a group of independent pro wrestlers in the Maritime provinces of Canada. The series consists of a half-hour documentary portion, as well as an hour of televised matches and shoot interviews. The sneak peek of the premiere episode was September 25, 2007, with the full series then airing in early November. The series tackles many issues that go on behind the scenes in the wrestling world including drug use, steroid use, and sex. The series gives the public a glimpse of what the lives of pro wrestlers are really like.

Rabbit Fall is a Canadian television supernatural drama series, which airs on Space, APTN and Saskatchewan Communications Network.
The series stars Andrea Menard as Tara Wheaton, a police officer of Métis descent who takes a job in Rabbit Fall, a remote town in northern Saskatchewan with a history of unexplained events. Wheaton is reluctant to accept the community's supernatural explanations for the events, but finds that the events challenge her sense of rationality.
The show's cast also includes Kevin Jubinville, Peter Stebbings, Peter Kelly Gaudreault, Tinsel Korey, Patrick Bird and Booth Savage.
Toda una dama is a successful Venezuelan telenovela produced and broadcast on RCTV International in 2007. Each episode looks at particular military strategy – or "battleplan" – through two well-known historical examples, gauging them against the ideal requirements necessary to successfully conduct that strategy.
