The WGN Morning News is an American morning television news program airing on CW affiliate and national superstation WGN-TV in Chicago, Illinois. The newscast airs Monday through Friday mornings from 4:00-10:00 a.m. Central Time.
The program is formatted as a newscast with a somewhat less serious tone than WGN-TV's other local news programs and is known for its fun and rambunctious nature, with the anchors and reporters often shown more relaxed on-air, often pulling on-air pranks and practical jokes. The 4:00-6:00 a.m. portion of the newscast is more staid in tone to some extent and is a more generalized news/weather/sports/traffic format, while the 6:00-10:00 a.m. portion incorporates feature segments, interviews and includes some humorous elements.

Breakfast's dominance was virtually unchallenged by the other networks until 2008, when TV3 launched Sunrise. Sunrise struggled against Breakfast with the ratings.Sunrise went off air because of finance issues in April 2010 leaving Breakfast the only morning news and talk show in New Zealand again until TV3 launched their second attempt at a morning news show Firstline in 2011 . Breakfast is on a current streak of being the highest-rated morning news and talk show every week since 11 August 1997.
omg! Insider is an American entertainment news program covering events and celebrities. It debuted on September 13, 2004 as a spinoff of Entertainment Tonight and started as a popular segment that took viewers "behind closed doors" and gave them "inside" information. Since becoming a separate program, it took a tabloid direction, and has gone through several formats since its 2004 premiere, though since the start of the 2011-12 season it has lost many of the tabloid elements and become more of a straight rundown of entertainment news.
