Fashion File was a Canadian television series, which aired on CBC Television and CBC Newsworld, as well as internationally in syndication, from 1989 to 2009. The series covered fashion industry news.
The series was hosted from its inception until 2006 by Tim Blanks, who left the show at the end of 2006 to join the Canadian fashion magazine Flare as editor-at-large. Over the winter of 2007, the CBC aired Fashion File Host Hunt, a short-run reality show in which ten finalists competed to become the new host of the show. Adrian Mainella was chosen as the new host of the series at the end of the Host Hunt. Other contestants included Peter Papapetrou, Manny Neubacher, Justin Singh, Paul Pogue, Mary Kitchen, Stephanie Pigott, Jamey Ordolis, Raji Sohal and Henrietta Southam. The judges were fashion magazine editors Bronwyn Cosgrave and Suzanne Boyd, and Fashion File executive producer Réjean Beaudin. The series was hosted by Michelle Mama.
As of the end of March 2009, Fashion File was cancelled by CBC Television.
TV Patrol Chavacano is the local news program of ABS-CBN Regional Network Group in Zamboanga Peninsula aired on ABS-CBN TV-3 Zamboanga and simulcast on TV-10 Jolo and on radio via MOR 98.7 Zamboanga For Life!. TV Patrol Chavacano delivers news from Zamboanga City and the western Mindanao area. Jewel Reyes is the main anchor of this newscast.
While other TV Patrol versions in Mindanao aired either in Cebuano or in Tagalog, TV Patrol Chavacano is TV Patrol's only edition in Mindanao that uses different language in Zamboangueño Chavacano, Zamboanga's native and official language.
It is aired live daily from the ABS-CBN Zamboanga at 5:00 PM, from Monday to Friday. It is simulcast on radio via MOR 98.7 Zamboanga For Life!.
European Closing Bell is a television programme aired on business news channel CNBC Europe from 5pm to 6pm CET, and from 11am to 12pm on CNBC World in the United States. The programme is presented from London by Louisa Bojesen. The show covers the last half hour of trades in the European equity markets, and reports on the day's final numbers and top stories as the markets close at 5:30pm CET. As the major European markets are electronic, no actual "closing bell" is rung - nonetheless there is a countdown on the CNBC Europe strap and video wall until the close of trade. Other regular segments include a daily "Guest Investor" and a technical analysis slot.
Prior to 26 March 2007, the programme ran for two hours until 7pm CET. The second hour of the programme was of a slower pace, offering a more in-depth look at financial and political events.
