Musical performances were provided by The Blind Boys of Alabama, Pat Benatar, and Charles Brown. There were remote segments and short film parodies. Most importantly, you have Poundstone's impeccable audience interaction. She brings many guests on in panels and plays off their interaction with each other as well.

The Kids News Network coverered entertainment, pro sports, books, technology, style, and health. Celebrity interviews are one-on-one, and are done by two young reporters: Elliott Levenglick and Diandra Levenglick, who had done celeberity interviews since 1993, and have traveled all over the [United States, Canada and the Bahamas doing movie junkets and were on the set of feature films. Some of the guests include: Arnold Swarzeneggar, Al Jareau, George Benson, Lindsay Lohan, Sinbad, Martin Short, Rosie O'Donnell, Oprah, Shaq,Phil Hartman, Natalie Portman, Richie Sambora, Tina Fey, The Olsen Twins, Derek Jeter, Kobe Bryant, Samuel L. Jackson, Morgan Freeman. The Kids News Network was the first TV news and entertainmnent show that featured so many celebrities and famous authors of children's books and pro sports players. The Sunday Show is a British television entertainment programme that was broadcast live on Sunday lunchtimes on BBC Two between 1995 and 1997. Four series of the show were produced. Donna McPhail and Katie Puckrik hosted the first two series, Puckrik was replaced by Paul Tonkinson for the third series. For the fourth, Tonkinson hosted with Jenny Ross, previously the show's soap opera reviewer. The show is best remembered for giving breaks to two young comedians who went on to greater success: Paul Kaye, who appeared each week in his Dennis Pennis character, attending premieres and other events, and throwing absurd questions at the gathered celebrities; and Peter Kay who presented a regular "World of Entertainment" slot ostensibly reviewing TV and film but in practice simply a vehicle for his stand-up comedy act. Other regular contributors included Kevin Eldon in different guises, including 'Guy Boudelaire' & 'Dr Brebner', and Happy Mondays' dancer/mascot/percussionist Bez in a weekly "Science With Bez" slot.

Fajront Republika was a Serbian talk show / sketch show that aired weekly on 1Prva from December 2008 until June 2011. Hosted by Zoran Kesić, the show was a blend of straight talk show elements and sketch comedy. Its name translates to "Closing time Republic" and it premiered on Sunday, 21 December 2008 at 11pm. It has since then been moved to Thursdays at 9pm, and then back to Sundays at 11pm in early November 2009. Starting in fall 2012, a year after getting cancelled from television, a live version of the show under the name Fajront Republika 3D is performed bi-weekly at a Belgrade theater.

The program was mainly known for individual theme weeks devoted to theatrical feature films or made-for-TV movies starring a certain actor or actress, or to a particular genre, or to films that spawned sequels. The more popular episodes were "Monster Week," "Planet of the Apes Week" and "Vincent Price Week." Some films, such as Ben-Hur and How the West Was Won, were of such length that an entire week was devoted to running the whole movie. Other films that ran longer than the program's 90-minute length were often divided into two parts and shown over two days. Variations of The 4:30 Movie were aired on other stations around the United States, most notably those also owned and operated by WABC-TV's parent network, ABC.

The program begins every Sunday at 4 p.m. Eastern time and airs, in more or less a continuous loop, until the conclusion of NBC Sunday Night Football at approximately 11:30 p.m. ET. NFL Scoreboard consists of score updates, analysis, limited game highlights, and extensive postgame comments from players and coaches. This program was once the last part of Red Zone. That show consists of game updates presented with text and graphics on the television screen and audio from Sirius NFL Radio. From 2003 to 2005, Red Zone ran from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. Eastern, followed by Point After. As part of the network's 2006 revamp, Point After became a five-day-a-week show, Red Zone was reduced to three hours, and this show and NFL GameDay were created.

Livewire is a kids' talk show on the U.S. television cable network, Nickelodeon which began in September 1980 and ended in 1985. Livewire was a talk show for kids of all ages, and the show's main focus discussed true current events and stories during those times. The show was taped at the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York through Reeves Teletape Studios of Sesame Street fame. Livewire was filmed 'live on tape' with a participating audience of about 20-30 teenagers and was hosted initially by Mark Cordray, but Fred Newman eventually replaced Cordray as host. The show was a CableACE Award winner, the first Nickelodeon talk show to achieve that feat. Livewire was the #1 rated show on Nickelodeon in 1982, and never went below #7 in the ratings during the 5 year span of the show. The show was most famously known for giving relatively unknown bands and singers their first television appearance.
