Fraud Squad TV is a Canadian half-hour documentary television series aimed at bringing awareness to the public about the global problem of fraud. The series premiered September 24, 2007, on Court TV Canada. The show interviews real people who have been the victims of a fraud as well as experts in the field who offer tips on how to avoid becoming a victim. The series educates and thereby protects unsuspecting victims from all sorts of scams. The show is expected to begin its second season in late 2009. Each Fraud Squad TV episode is split into two fraud topics per episode.

The series is co-hosted by The Last 10 Pounds Boot Camp's “Dream Team”: personal trainer Tommy Europe and nutrition specialist Nadeen Boman. Each half-hour episode features the story of one bride-to-be in the high-anxiety period less than two months before the big day. The bride has her wedding dress, but it doesn’t fit. Racked by tension from the bridal arrangements and petrified by the thought of not feeling her best on her big day, the bride-to-be has turned to the Dream Team as a last resort to lose her excess weight and fit in her gown.

The Royal Today is a British medical soap opera, a spin-off of the similarly themed drama, The Royal. The concept is that whilst The Royal is set in the late 1960s, The Royal Today featured the same hospital in the present day, with a new set of characters working in the same location. Each episode followed the events of a single day, and the show was broadcast daily, so the series could be said to progress in real time. The first series of 50 half-hour episodes began on 7 January 2008 on the ITV network airing from 4pm-4.30pm. Although there were a number of running storylines, the series generally eschewed the use of cliffhangers. The series was axed in March 2008 after poor ratings, on an average of 1.175 million viewers.
