Rangoon Radha, Sivaji Ganesan plays a rich hypocrite, a wolf in sheep’s clothing, married to a loving, dutiful wife (Bhanumathi). He covets his sister-in-law (Rajam) and manipulates his wife’s mind to make her believe that she is going insane. Instead of seeking medical advice, he gets a witch doctor to exorcise the evil spirit that is believed to possess her. Because of her undying love for her husband, she suffers all the torture, mental and physical, and even puts up with his marrying her sister (Rajam).

Daya (Jagapati Babu) is a sincere cop and an encounter specialist. He handles his job professionally and does not hold anything personal. Salim (Kota Prasad) is his assistant who is greedy about increasing the encounters count so that he could get more publicity from the media. The city commissioner (Kota) is retired and a new commissioner takes the charge. The new commissioner has his own agenda and he discourages Daya from performing his duty in fair manner. The rest of the story is all about how Daya takes law into his hands and cleans up the mafia gang in his own indomitable style.

Chinni Charan's music, Karthikeya's screenplay, Satyam Rahesh's comedy are its other highlights. Age-old story, slow-paced narration and some illogical scenes are its biggest drawbacks.

Varun Sandesh appears as a youth with womanising attitude. He is such a big womaniser that he wants to take every girl he meets into bed. Political journalist Jayadev (Meka Srikanth) unearths several scams made by a politician (Ahuti Prasad) who in turn invites him to bribe him. The but idealistic Jayadev refuses to relent, and as they discuss, a group of Maoists attack the politician and kill him off and Jayadev is held as their hostage. Along with Jayadev, the group of Maoists led by Gogi (Ajay) head to their base camp in a dense forest. During the journey, their ideologies are tested; good and bad are exposed, in a dramatic way.
