The series starred Heart Evangelista in the title role, with Mark Anthony Fernandez as the leading man. The series premiered on November 17, 2008 and concluded on March 6, 2009. It was aired internationally with a two-day delay on GMA Pinoy TV. Three years after the series ended, GMA Network makes its sequel entitled Luna Blanca. It is a three-generational drama which featured three generations of actresses for the title roles. On its first book, child stars Jillian Ward and Mona Louise Rey play the roles of Luna and Blanca respectively. On the second part, teen stars Bea Binene and Barbie Forteza will play the roles respectively. Roman Mysteries is a television series based on the series of children's historical novels by Caroline Lawrence. It is reportedly the most expensive British children's TV series to date at £1 million per hour. The series began filming in June 2006 and was first broadcast from 8 May 2007. The series is divided into "scrolls", each based on one book, starting with The Secrets of Vesuvius. The stories are told in the same order as the book series, except for book 6, The Twelve Tasks of Flavia Gemina, which is transposed to the second season. Books 11 and 12 were not adapted, and the series ends with the adaptation of Book 13. Each scroll consists of two half-hour episodes. The first scroll guest-starred Simon Callow as Pliny the Elder. Back Of The Y previously known as Back Of The Y Masterpiece Television is a cult New Zealand TV series, created by Chris Stapp and Matt Heath. Featuring such memorable characters as Randy Campbell, Danny Parker, Dick Johansonson, Cindy Cockburn and Spanners Watson, the show glorified stunts and the consumption of copious amounts of alcohol. The Hollywood special episode featured Randy Campbell jumping off the back of the Y in the famous Hollywood sign. Hannay was a 1988 spin-off from the 1978 film version of John Buchan's novel The Thirty-Nine Steps which had starred Robert Powell as Richard Hannay. In the series, Powell reprised the role of Hannay, an Edwardian mining engineer from Rhodesia of Scottish origin. It features his adventures in pre-World War I Great Britain. These stories had little in common with John Buchan's novels about the character, although some character names are taken from his other novels. There were two series, the first with six episodes, the second with seven. The combined 13 episodes ran for a total of 652 minutes. One episode, A Point of Honour, was based on a story of the same name by Dornford Yates that appeared in his 1914 book The Brother of Daphne, although Yates was not credited. Another episode used a plot device from the Leslie Charteris Saint story The Unblemished Bootlegger, from the 1933 book The Brighter Buccaneer, again uncredited.
