Armored Fleet Dairugger XV was an anime series aired in Japan from 1982 to 1983. It is also referred to as Dairugger 15, Dairugger XV, Armored Armada Dairugger XV, Armored Squadron Dairugger XV, or Machine Platoon Dairugger. In the United States, it was heavily edited to become part of the Voltron series. The Dairugger footage was the primary source for the "Vehicle Voltron" episodes, though various footage was also inserted into the more commonly known "Lion Voltron" episodes.

Creepschool is a Swedish, French and Canadian animated series by Alphanim, Cookie Jar Entertainment, Happy Life and France 3 about four kids who find themselves at a spooky boarding school. The basic concept was created by Torbjörn Jansson, which was then substantially re-worked and developed by the co-head-writers Kristina Mansfeld and Per Carlsson into the series it is today. They also wrote all the storylines. Creepschool has been compared to Gravedale High.

After a slumber of twelve millennia, the Demon Empire awakens to seize control of the Earth. Raideen, the giant robot-like protector of the lost continent of Mu, senses the evil presence and awakens within its golden pyramid. A young Japanese boy, Akira Hibiki, is alerted about the Demon Empire by a mysterious voice and rushes to the pyramid. It is soon revealed that Akira is a descendant of the ancient people of Mu who must help Raideen save the Earth. Akira enters the robot by way of a ramp, accelerating his motorcycle into the robot's head and assuming control of Raideen from an internal cockpit. In typical anime style, Akira is aided by Mari Sakurano, who happens to be the daughter of a prominent scientist, and his friends from the soccer club. Half way through the story the Demon Empire's master, Barao, is released from his statue prison and intends to finish what he started twelve thousand years earlier.

It used the same Synchro-Vox lip technique as Clutch Cargo, the first cartoon produced by the same studio, Cambria Productions. The series features the eponymous owl, pink in colour, and with blue feet that "float" below her body. Each of the minute-long fifty-two episodes centres on the owl attempting to overcome unfortunate circumstances, but end in her demise by her various appendages and body being dispensed of in unusual or comical ways. Zoom the White Dolphin was a 1971 French animated television series, of 13 episodes, created by Vladimir Tarta, directed by René Borg. The original French version was broadcast in 1971 on ORTF's second network and rebroadcast in France from 29 June 1981 on FR3. An English version was produced and broadcast internationally on networks such as CBC Television. The Japanese version of the series was titled Iruka to Shônen, which means "the dolphin and the boy". Production companies involved in the series were Telcia, Saga Films and Japan's Eiken.

Despite the show title, the segments have no history in newspaper comic strips.

Funnybones was a Welsh children's television series that was first aired in Welsh on S4C and in English on the BBC in 1992. It was based on the eponymous series of books by Janet and Allan Ahlberg which were illustrated by Andre Amstutz and focused on the adventures of a family of skeletons, sometimes known as the Funnybones. Cockleshell Bay is a children's television series which was shown at lunchtime on ITV during the early 1980s. It was made by Cosgrove Hall for their parent company, the ITV broadcaster Thames Television. Other children's programmes in the same ITV time slot on the remaining four weekdays included Let's Pretend, Jamie and the Magic Torch, and Rainbow - the latter in which Cockleshell Bay began as a regular story feature. Twins Robin and Rosie Cockle were the main characters. They lived at the Bucket and Spade guest house run by their parents Helen and Christopher. Gran Routy helped out at the house. Robin and Rosies friends included Mr. Ship, Mr. Fingal and his donkey Fury, and Ben Gunn the "pirate seagull". In the later series Robin and Rosie had a baby sister called Holly.
