Tamara, with a child from a marriage that did not last long, is from an impoverished aristocratic family. To save her family from bankruptcy, Tamara is to marry Hassan Al-Dabbah, owner of one of the largest meat empires in the Middle East. Despite his wealth, Hassan comes from a nouveau riche family. Shortly before the wedding, the families spend a week together to oversee the wedding preparations. The differences between the families becomes apparent, and behind the fake smiles, all parties supervise the final wedding details. These details are overseen by Omar, Tamara's old love, who has created a rock sculpture to give a unique character to the wedding. This sculpture will become the source of several disputes during the wedding.
Paris, a working-class neighborhood in the 19th arrondissement. Shaï and Djeneba are 19 years old and have been friends since childhood. One is burdened by an overbearing family. The other by deep loneliness. Over the course of a summer, they work as counselors at a summer camp, far from the tower blocks where they grew up—no longer quite children, yet officially responsible for a group of kids aged 6 to 10. This time, the favorite hero Chedo gets a new, not easy task. The director assigns him to host a famous director and organizes the recording of a dramatic play with amateur actors. Cheda's mission is clear - to find actors and prepare an audition. But, as always, nothing goes smoothly. Chedo goes around the village, offers work to neighbors and even his own wife. He encounters numerous rejections, disbelief and comical situations, but, with a lot of trouble and even more wit, he manages to gather a team of "talented" actors. The situation is further complicated by the appearance of new, suspicious characters in the village, who are also wanted by the police.
