On December 15, 2024, the collision and sinking of two fuel oil tankers in the Kerch Strait caused one of the most devastating environmental disasters in the history of the Black Sea. Six months later, the tankers lying on the seabed are still leaking fuel oil, and of the thousands of volunteers who initially took part in the cleanup, only a few dozen remain along a 30-kilometer stretch of beach. The film was shot on the Taman Peninsula in early summer 2025, against the backdrop of a formally lifted, yet in reality already underway, beach season. In the face of scarce resources, the departure of their own leaders, and the daily release of fuel oil, the volunteers talk about themselves, rescue animals, combat the ignorance of those around them, and try to find the motivation to continue their fight against a disaster that at times seems endless.
Germany is a country of contrasts. On the one hand, there's urbanization, extremely dense transport routes, industry, and intensive agriculture. But for a few years now, there's also been wilderness here – with unfettered natural development. Emerging from industrial wastelands or abandoned military training areas. And in the midst of it all, there's even a large predator, feared by some: the wolf. The documentary delves deep into this new wilderness, from which many animals benefit. Species like the crane and the wolf, for example. The documentary repeatedly encounters both and observes their family life, their everyday lives, and their encounters with other animals.
The film tells the story of a veteran of military operations in Chechnya. The main character of the film is a two-time recipient of the Order of Courage. A retired colonel. Friends habitually call him "Combat", although he has not commanded anyone for a long time. He has three wars, seven wounds and two concussions behind him. The usual statistics of a simple officer's fate.

For the city of chemists and oil workers, this will be the first real city theatre in its history – Novokuibyshevsk has never had its own theatre building before. Construction takes up all the director’s free time from work on performances, distracting him from rehearsals, taking away his health and attention. Not everything is going smoothly: the builders are missing deadlines and at some point it seems that the construction may stop altogether. The director is trying with all his might to prevent this. At the same time, he is releasing a premiere, preparing for new productions and solving a host of everyday, organizational and creative problems that arise daily in the team and make up the life of a chamber theatre…

A documentary about the weight of filming pain, the guilt of those who observe it, and the responsibility of showing it. That gaze continues to resonate years later, amid helplessness, memory, and denunciation.
