Kazuyoshi SaitŠ¾ made an offer to collaborate with Naoki Urasawa, with whom he has a close relationship, after he saw Urasawa's rough drawing of a boy who strummed a broom like a guitar. The image matched what SaitŠ¾ completely had in mind for his song "Boy." Urasawa created a storyboard, and completed an animation on his own for the first time. Urasawa also illustrated the song's album cover.
Envy played only one show after the worldwide release of their critically acclaimed new album, The Fallen Crimson. In February 2020 – before COVID-19 effectively halted all live music worldwide, Envy performed a crazy, sweaty, sold-out hometown show at LIQUIDROOM, the Tokyo venue that has become sort of an extended living room for the legendary band. “We were lucky that we were able to play this one gig before all live shows were canceled“, says vocalist Testu Fukagawa. “The performance itself is a bit rough and we could probably have performed better, but we wanted to send our fresh feelings to our fans by means of this performance, while they can't see Envy live.”
Zara Larsson held a one-off online concert on International Women’s Day in 2021. The livestream concert aired exclusively on Larsson’s YouTube channel and her performing was inside an Ikea store in Sweden. In a press release, the singer said: “I am so excited to collaborate with Ikea on this performance on International Women’s Day. I have always felt so passionately about equality and I’m excited to dedicate my first show in over a year to all the amazing women around the world. I have missed performing live so much during this time I hope my band, dancers and I can bring some sparkle and fun to your homes.”
