LEGACY is an account of their lives, their music and their families and their legacies. We follow their children, now grown, who share their stories for the first time: about growing up with a world-famous father, yet getting teased at school about their dark skin. This film is as much a documentary about music as it is a portrait of how individual experiences of race, visions of society and artistic dreams intersect, giving rise to an entirely new musical experience.

The exciting story is revealed by exclusive videos, found photographs, objects, and of course the friends who took the 23-year-old Pengov on an exciting journey of planning, recording, designing and promoting the album, which immediately after its release became a cult and sought-after diamond of the pop culture underground scene of the time. But the story does not end with the album's release. The record is still turning.

Togenashi Togeari's memorable 1st ONE-MAN LIVE "Twilight Prelude" held at 1000 CLUB in Yokohama on Saturday, March 16, 2024. This live was held before the TV anime "Girls Band Cry" started broadcasting, but the venue, which can accommodate about 1,000 people, was filled by fans who had heard of the band early on. It was Togenashi Togeari's first one-man live. Their overwhelming performance already foreshadowed their musical potential and a great leap forward to date.
In 1992, Min-young, a member of the university protest music group Wildflower Sound, joins forces with the ideological study circle Flag to support workers at Samhyung Industries, who are striking after going six months without pay. On the day of the strike, riot police launch a violent crackdown. Workers and student musicians alike are beaten and dragged away. In response, fellow students form a resistance line to rescue them. The standoff escalates into a massive clash between citizens and police—broadcast live on national news. Compelled by something greater, Min-young steps onto the stage and cries out: "We are not rioters!" A roar of unified voices rises and echoes across the nation. “Arise, you who live—The day is coming!”
