On the way there, Sushmita is horrified to see mutilated corpses, bomb explosions, and armed militants. She is terrified and asks Jaanbaz to take her back, but Jaanbaz takes her to his home.

Two friends in the Korean Navy, Lee and Kim are both part of an elite diving squad, specialising in emergency deep sea salvage dives. Lee is straight-laced and takes his duties seriously, while Kim treats the Navy as a lark. When Kang, a diving instructor and Kim's former girlfriend, is posted to the unit, this creates tension between the friends as they compete for Kang's affections. The tension is heightened when Lee is promoted ahead of Kim, creating a rivalry between the two. Kim's gung-ho approach to diving, and the danger he poses for himself (and his fellow divers), leads to further problems. Matters come to a head when an incident at sea causes the sinking of a submarine, requiring the unit to attempt a dangerous salvage rescue of the sunken submarine.

But Nora, whose sister died in the terrorist attacks of September 11, refuses to be as cold and dispassionate as Ben. It takes a series of near-death experiences dodging bullets and fanatical rebels for Ben and Nora to find the common ground so necessary to their future teamwork.

One day, Japanese soldiers built a artillery tower at the mountain pass, which worries Shanwa's family, their peaceful life was soon disrupted. The Japanese soldiers spotted Shanwa hunting and shot him. The bullet pierced one of his ears and almost killed him. This made the innocent Shanwa feel indignant and thus his need to vent out his anger. Ignoring his wife's dissuasion, he came to the opposite side of the blockhouse at dawn, shouted curses and fired shots in protest. This angered the Japanese soldiers in the artillery tower. They chased him into the mountains several times and finally found his home. The Japanese soldiers brutally killed his wife and child, but he managed to escape with his life. From then on, Shanwa with the help of his father launched a desperate battle against the Japanese soldiers.
