The Raccoons on Ice is the second of four specials leading up to the television series The Raccoons. It initially aired on CBC and in syndication on December 20, 1981.
There lived in one yard four friends: a kitten, a puppy, a goat and a small chicken. But only they always cursed because their things somehow disappeared. The kitten lost milk from the bowl, the puppy lost his bone, the kid lost a carrot, and the chicken, almost had hardly been eaten. But one day the friends accidentally found a rat-thief, who they then all together amicably caught in a mousetrap and she paid for her theft.
This is the second story from a series of adventures of the brave warrior Ilya of Murom. This time he is moving towards the city of Kiev and on the way accomplishes his great and small feats. Arriving at the gates of Chernigov city, Illya discovers that black vorogs are circling around the city. Having settled with them, Ilya Muromets meets the locals, who offer him the honorary position of governor. But the hero refuses the offer, because he needs to move towards Kiev and fight with evil spirits.
The plot follows the events surrounding Vladimir from childhood and into adulthood. In the beginning of the film, being under the influence of the high priest Krivzha, the Prince is a young, impulsive and cruel pagan. Fighting for supreme power, Vladimir wins a battle that kills his brother. Regretting what he has done, Vladimir does not suspect a conspiracy between the priest and the Pechenegs. Vladimir is concerned about gathering the Slavic tribes into one united state. Solving this major task, he faces obstacles, which Vladimir overcomes in the end, defeating Krivzha and winning the battle against Kurya, a Pecheneg chief.
Andy Panda is very fond of apples and he eats a bushel of green apples, falls asleep and has a nightmare in which the devil is trying to entice him into Hades and stuffs him full of apple juice, applesauce and more apples. (In Andy's defense, since Andy was taught not to eat green apples, the devil had spray-painted the green apples red.)

It has been several years after the events of Shunmuki and Watanuki has become the new proprietor of Yūko's shop following her death. Domeki has taken a position at a university to study folklore and Kohane has become a student at the same university studying under Domeki. Due to Domeki's position, a series of events have occurred that requires Watanuki's services. The episode outlines the process by which Watanuki fulfills the request while presenting changes in many of the characters in the series. The ending theme is "Kaza Nagi" (風なぎ?) by Shikao Suga.

The brownie escapes from the captivity of Baba Yaga in her magical world, and ends up in the apartment of the girl Natasha and her parents. Kuzya needs to find his magic chest that grants wishes.
