Tobias Kratzer’s staging presented Tannhäuser as a wildly contemporary parable of art and freedom which was praised as “novel” and “wrenching” (New York Times) and received exceptional press acclaim. hey were joined by mezzo soprano Elena Zhidkova’s Venus (“scene stealing”, according to Opera Today), baritone Markus Eiche’s Wolfram and Stephen Milling’s Landgraf.
Live & Off the Record is the second live album released by Colombian-born musician Shakira. The album was released in 2004, and consists of a two-disc CD and DVD compilation. The CD includes recordings of live performances recorded during 2003 and 2004, and the DVD includes footage from Shakira's Tour of the Mongoose live performance in Rotterdam, Netherlands on April 22nd, 2003. The album was certified gold by the RIAA in May 2004. In Spain and Latin America, the album was titled En Vivo y en Privado.
Jazzin' for Blue Jean is a 20-minute short film featuring David Bowie and directed by Julien Temple. It was created to promote Bowie's single "Blue Jean" in 1984 and released as a video single. The film depicts the adventures of the socially incompetent Vic (played by Bowie) as he tries to win the affections of a beautiful girl by claiming to personally know her favorite rock star, Screaming Lord Byron (also played by Bowie).
THE IDOLM@STER STATION!!! First Live "HEART AND SOUL" was a live concert event held on March 25th, 2012 at CLUB SEATA in Tokyo, Japan to promote THE IDOLM@STER STATION!!!. The event starred the show's hosts Manami Numakura, Yumi Hara, and Azumi Asakura performing alongside a live band. The setlist consisted of original songs from the show as well as a few select songs from THE IDOLM@STER RADIO, some covers, and a special performance of the in-game song Overmaster. The concert was released on Blu-ray format on October 31st, 2012.
In the palace of a Pasha, the maid Shalabya and the driver Ali fall in love, but the Pasha fires them when he finds out. Shalabya starts working at a nightclub and grows famous. When she falls for Omar and decides to quit dancing for him, Ali tries to sabotage their relationship.
The young Mounir (Mounir Mourad), a talented artist, tries to take advantage of his unique talents, but he faces many difficulties in order to find his way. These difficulties disappear when he falls in love with a famous (Shadia) singer who exchanges feelings of love, and attaches him with her to work in the club where she sings. The nightclub manager interferes to spoil this relationship because he covets marrying her, and her aunt also opposes their relationship. The events follow and the two lovers are exposed to many pressures in order to maintain their love.
Flannery, a railway agent does everything by the book. He gets into a scrape with a customer, McMorehouse, who wants to pay 44 cents freight for two guinea pigs which he considers pets. Flannery, however, considers them pigs (freight 48 cents), a decision he begins to regret when the animals begin to reproduce.
