The documentary traces the life of Yervant Demirci, a fourth-generation blacksmith, from his beginnings in Mardin Derik to his life in Armenia. Like all Armenians in Mardin Derik, Demirci began his life speaking Kurdish, his native language, without knowing Armenian. He continued his life in Istanbul Samatya, learning Turkish at school, and when he wanted to go to Armenia, he continued his struggle to learn Armenian.
