Sam Corwin, stage line owner and camp bully, makes unwelcome love to Polly, daughter of an old prospector. The old man drives him off the place at gunpoint and Sam conspires to have the old man sent to prison. He stages a fake hold-up, leaving the old man's hat on the scene. This is managed with the connivance of one of Sam's stage drivers.

A young woman is lured to the Yukon by a gambler with promises of marriage and a grubstake for a gold mine. She takes her ailing father with her, only to discover when she gets there that the gambler was lying to her and actually planned to sell her to a dance hall. She gathers her father and an old miner she has met, takes a dogsled and supplies from the gambler and the three of them head for the wilderness to look for a lost gold claim the old miner has been looking for.

A growing number of cattle raids prompts the cattlemen to call on their cattlemen's association president Martin Lethbridge to investigate. Sheep Ranchers are suspected, who led by Gregg Randall blame the cattlemen for increased casualties among the sheep herds. Letherbridge falls in love with Randall's daughter, Dolly, and eventually exposes Blunt Vanier as the cause of the conflict.

When Red Hawk Dugan and his men attack a small wagon train, Colonel Merriwell is killed and the young girl Isobel taken and raised thinking Dugan is her father. Fifteen years later the Colonel's son Jack arrives looking for Dugan whom he learned killed his father. "Flash" Lanning returns to Bozzam City from the East to put an end to cattle rustling. Gloria Hallowell, who has known him by reputation, falls in love with Lanning but believes that he loves Ellen Bosworth, an eastern "lady." Campan, the leader of the rustlers, hoping to lure Lanning into a trap, kidnaps both girls. Lanning rescues the girls, punishes Campan, and indicates to Gloria that she is the girl for him.

Texas Ranger Chuck Williams is the bashful sweetheart of the daughter, Ellen, of the captain of his Texas Rangers troop. He is working with the Mexican Rurales in an effort to stop a gang of gun runners. The gang-leader shows up, posing as an artist, and Ellen takes him in as a boarder to make Chuck jealous. But Chuck is wise to the boarder, who kidnaps Ellen and heads for the mountain hideout of his gang.
Cowboy Bill sells his prize dogs to pay Janet's way back to New York and, in love with the girl, follows her to Manhattan where he obtains a job as a construction worker.
