An Indian comforts a dying prospector in his last moments. In exchange, the prospector tells him the location of his gold claim. A group of cowboys tries to get the information and go as far as kidnapping the Indian's wife.

Among the tall trees and mountains of the Far West, a father, son and daughter dwell peacefully in their mountain cabin, close to nature, seldom hearing of the great restless world outside, happy in their isolation. Jack, the son, visiting town on business, is tempted into a gambling saloon and takes part in a game of cards. Dalton, a gambler, undertakes to fleece the boy. The result is a fight in which Dalton is shot, and Jack becomes a fugitive.
Road Agents begins as a pair of outlaws prepares to rob a stagecoach. Donning masks and brandishing six-guns, the bad guys relieve the passengers of their valuables and also make off with a box full of payroll money. As the sheriff organizes a posse, the bandits are seen dividing their loot. The greedier of the two crooks beats up his partner and absconds with their ill-gotten gains. The other bandit, thirsting for revenge, joins the sheriff's posse to track down his former chum.
A gang of outlaws are planning a bank robbery. After making preparations, they commit the robbery and make their escape amidst a sharp exchange of bullets. They return to their meeting place, and then hurriedly continue onwards, with lawmen close behind them.

In a saloon in a Mexican border town, a group of cowboys, including a Mexican named Pedro, play poker. One man is discovered cheating, and is shot dead by Pedro, who is wounded as he attempts to escape. Pedro is followed home by the local sheriff, who proves the next victim of Pedro's quick temper and pistol. Pedro's wife, Juanita, is thrown into jail, but he manages to break her out. They head for the border, unaware that a posse is waiting for them.
In the 1849 American West, seductive outlaw Jack Morgan falls in love with Mollie, an innkeeper's daughter, already coveted by stagecoach driver Dick.
